Nautor's Swan 46. Race Yacht Charter

"Ginny B" GBR 1264

Ginny B is a legendary Swan 46.

Alex’s boat is not a lightweight stripped out uncomfortable racer.

The Swan 46 designed by German Frers is a masterpiece of modern classic design with timeless lines and aesthetics. Well known for being a supremely comfortable and refined yacht, the Swan 46 is designed and built by arguably the best in the business.

Swan yachts are built to the benchmark standard of Lloyds with an ethos of heavily over built construction standards. Quality is at the heart of every Swan yacht.

Ginny B was built by Nautors Swan in Finland and is the kind of yacht which promotes confidence at sea.  She performs admirably in all conditions whilst offering the kind of luxury and quality of construction which many other yacht manufacturers can only dream of.

This beautiful yacht offers supreme levels of comfort offshore while still delivering a solid and competitive racing platform for even the most demanding of sailors.  Ginny B is without doubt a sailors yacht.

Ginny B is currently undergoing a comprehensive refit in preparation for future sailing adventures and yacht charter opportunities. Follow our progress updates on our blog

Do you have aspirations to compete in an offshore sailing event ?

It goes without saying you need confidence in the boat, the crew and ultimately the ability of the skipper to demonstrate sound and solid leadership.

Alex is the kind of person you want as your skipper. A natural leader, who always leads by example .

Race Qualification / Training

sail the Fastnet race with Alex Bennett

Whether your sailing experience amounts to hero or zero Alex is happy for novice sailors through to the most experienced and competitive yachtsman and women to join him onboard. The most important factor is having a desire to participate and become immersed in an exciting adventure.

For RORC offshore racing events, organisers set minimum qualification and preparation thresholds to help better prepare crews and yachts for the event and its potential demands.

A solid workup period onboard is essential for crews to develop as a team and build a good understanding of the boat, its operating systems, the watch systems we employ during our time at sea and the location of all safety equipment onboard.
